This tool is for parents who are willing and able to discuss practical arrangements. It helps structure discussions and record proposals. It does not itself create an agreement.

Who this planner is for

Parents who already agree, agree on most issues, are exploring possible arrangements, or are preparing for mediation or a constructive discussion.

This planner may not be suitable where

There are concerns about domestic abuse, coercion, safeguarding, child protection, abduction, substance misuse, immediate risk, or where one parent cannot negotiate freely. In those circumstances, obtain appropriate professional advice before using a joint planning tool.
